Arada hit winning streak at fireplace industry Hearth & Home exhibition
Leading local stove manufacturer Arada Ltd, with manufacturing facilities in Bridport, Dorset and Axminster, Devon won a brace of awards at the recent fireplace-industry National Fireplace Awards at the Hearth and Home Exhibition in Harrogate.
Arada, whose brands include Aarrow, Villager, Romotop, Fondis and Stratford, won the 'Appliance of the Year' award with its new Villager Esprit model (shown below),the first of a new generation of stoves from this popular brand which is manufactured in Axminster. Arada Owner, John Burgis, who is shown above left with the award, commented, "I see this award as recognition for of all the hard work and effort that Arada and its employees have put in to turning round the Villager brand over the last six months."
Arada's Managing Director, David Adams received the 'Wise Owl' award at the same presentation for his services to the fireplace and stove industry. David is shown above right with the award which was set up in memory of two fireplace industry professionals who lost their lives in the Boxing Day Tsumami in 2004.
